Oaktree Academy is a private learning center serving children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. We are looking for a Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team.

If you have experience in early childhood education, have a positive attitude, are a team player who enjoys working with children and serving and supporting families – we would love for you to join our team.

Responsibilities:

ü Be passionate about working with kids, treat them with love, kindness and patience; learn about their strengths, interests and needs; create environment in which children feel safe and have a sense of belonging.

ü Design lesson plans that (i) are fun and engaging and help each child succeed, and (ii) meet developmental objectives of curriculum.

ü Maintain online assessment of developmental objectives and dimensions of each child to keep track of milestones and learning progress.

ü Maintain safe and organized classroom.

ü Support families by building relationships based on honest and constructive communication.

ü Have a professional, positive attitude.

ü Communicate with parents, colleagues, vendors in a clear and concise way.

ü Be a team player and work well with others.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years of experience as a lead teacher

· Experience creating and implementing curriculum Open to ongoing professional development in early childhood
