Oaktree Academy is looking for a dynamic leader to fill the Lead Teacher/Assistant Director role. The mission of our center is to provide a nurturing, safe and educational environment for kids trusted in our care. This is a brand new facility so this is an incredible opportunity to help launch the school from the ground up! An ideal candidate has Director credentials and some administrative experience running a center, however, that is not mandatory. We will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supports Director in running the center

• Must be director qualified

• Manages all facets of the center and serves as a proactive problem-solver who will be able to identify challenges and implement necessary solutions.

• Communicates in a way that gains trust and support of others (ex: other center staff/leadership/parents/vendors)

• Fosters effective communication with parents to address their concerns/inquires;

_ Designs and implements lesson plans for various classrooms.

• Performs center tours with potential clients and articulates the mission of the center.

Qualifications:

Must meet all requirements of DCFS Director Qualifications At least 1 year experience as a lead teacher
