Well established manufacturer of hydronic heating, cooling and dehumidification systems for the global commercial horticultural market has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and detail-oriented CAD Design Technician.

Example of duties:

• Works independently on design projects and manufacturing initiatives within a collaborative and design-oriented, supportive team culture
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and experience in coordinating with mechanical engineering teams
• Assist CAD manager with developing CAD standards

Minimum qualifications:

• Proficient in AutoCAD 3D (5 years preferred)
• Familiar with Autodesk Inventor (1 year preferred)
• Experienced with mechanical systems including piping design, hydronics, sheet metal and molded plastic design work
• Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Ability to work with a variety of trades and professional personnel to coordinate accomplishment of complex tasks within deadlines and resolve problems
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and manage priorities
• Basic understanding of electronics, electrical systems, and instrumentation
