    FamilySearch is seeking a creative individual with social media savvy to complete a project to create paid advertisements for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and other social media channels. These paid ads will help drive traffic to FamilySearch.org resulting in new accounts, personal family history discovery, and connection to living family and ancestors.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Responsible for a project to develop around 200(+) paid ads and around 50(+) mini videos for social media. Responsible for the creative process, from generating ideas, to writing paid ad copy, to identifying possible images, to planning content for the mini videos. Also responsible for working with our internal publishing team to ensure the content is built and approved. This individual will need skills in writing short, clear copy. Writing for social media is a plus.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant work experience is required

    2+ years Marketing/Communications experience is preferred

    Understanding of marketing best practices for social media is preferred

    Ability to complete project with minimal oversight and within the project timeframe
