Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing customized treatment plans, and assisting individuals to achieve optimum functional independence. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and support recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the specific needs of patients.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve patients' daily living skills, mobility, and overall quality of life.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, therapeutic activities, and strategies for maintaining independence.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Monitor and report on the progress of patients, adapting treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care and comply with ethical and professional state & federal guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to develop creative and individualized treatment plans.
- Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices and techniques.
