ABOUT YOUR FUTURE CAREER:

We're hiring a FULL-TIME salaried mental health therapist with an active SC license as an LPC, LISW-CP, or LMFT to work in our Carolina Forest office. As a clinician, you'll provide psychotherapy services for issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, marriage, OCD, BPD, bipolar, and more. WHY OCEANIC?

W-2 Employment: Most practices employ therapists as a 1099 contractor. Which means taxes are NOT WITHHELD, and the therapist is responsible for the employer's portion of the taxes!!! Oceanic Counseling Group provides W-2 employment and withholds taxes throughout the year.

Timely Compensation: Many other practices pay their therapists WHEN they get reimbursed from insurance. This creates difficult budgeting issues for therapists, who are expected to go weeks and months without getting paid. Oceanic Counseling Group pays biweekly , regardless of how quickly the insurance claims are paid.

Benefits: While many other practices avoid offering benefits due to the high costs, Oceanic Counseling Group provides a full benefit package with multiple choices for group health insurance, dental, vision, life, 401k, and more!

Private Office: Many practices only provide shared office spaces for their therapists to work from. At Oceanic Counseling Group, each full-time therapist receives their own furnished private office with name plate!

Training is provided to use our platforms and complete needed paperwork.

Requirements to be considered for this position:

Clinician must work Monday-Friday 9am -6 pm. (Schedule is fixed)

Clinician must be willing to see all ages (children-geriatrics)

Clinician must be willing to accept same day appointments

Clinician must be credentialed with BCBS of South Carolina, SC Healthy Connections Medicaid, and other insurances.

Clinician understands that the salary covers all aspects of the psychotherapy process. Including, but not limited to: the sessions themselves, completing assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, progress summaries, other paperwork associated with the visits, etc.

PAY RATE: $70,000 per year (W-2) + benefits + 3% 401k match
