1.Overview
TheContractor shall provide professional services to support the District ofColumbia’s deployment of Cisco Meraki MV cloud‑managed security cameras acrossmunicipal facilities. The Contractor will coordinate with the Department ofGeneral Services (DGS), to oversee vendor installation activities, ensurecompliance with the Office of the Chief Technology Officer’s technical standards,and maintain all required project documentation.
2.Scope of Work
TheContractor shall perform the following tasks:
2.1Project Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for all deployment‑related activities including: Coordination with DGS and/or OCTO to: Obtain building plans Confirm camera placement Schedule vendor site walks Arrange building access for vendors and city personnel as needed: Assign approved user roles and privileges for each site in the Meraki Dashboard; and Ensure all required network ports are properly configured and patched to support camera deployment, connectivity, and Meraki Dashboard integration. 2.2Technical Review & Planning
Review architectural drawings, low‑voltage plans, and security layouts. Validate camera locations, cable paths, mounting requirements, and environmental constraints. Identify conduit or cabling needs and coordinate required work. 2.3Installation Oversight
Oversee vendor installation activities to ensure compliance with City standards. Verify proper mounting, labeling, patching, and camera alignment. Ensure all cameras are brought online and configured in the Meraki dashboard using approved naming conventions. 2.4Documentation & Reporting
Maintain project documentation, including updating as‑built drawings, QA checklists, and deployment logs. Prepare weekly status reports summarizing progress, risks, and upcoming work. Maintain an updated issue and risk log throughout the project. 3.Deliverables
TheContractor shall provide the following deliverables:
Master Deployment Schedule Site Walk Reports for each facility Installation Verification Checklists As‑Built Documentation including final camera locations, cable IDs, and switch port assignments Weekly Status Reports Issue & Risk Log updated weekly Final Acceptance Package including QA results and dashboard validation 4.Acceptance Criteria
Afacility will be deemed complete when:
All cameras are installed per approved plans All devices are labeled, patched, aimed, and online Dashboard naming/tagging meets City standards As‑built documentation is submitted and approved Installation Verification Checklist is completed and signed All QA issues are resolved Training is completed for designated City personnel, including dashboard access, camera review procedures, and basic troubleshooting
