    Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a college intern with 0 to 3 years of experience to support our Railroad Engineering team in our Los Angeles or San Bernardino office. The intern must have an interest in the Hydrologic and Hydraulic field to assist Engineers, Project Engineers, and Project Manager with a wide variety of projects.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

     

    • Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks.
    • Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids
    • Work assignments may include MicroStation, ArcGIS, Microsoft Office, design and fieldwork activities

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    • Currently in pursuit of undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or other related field
    • Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
    • Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as MicroStation, ArcGIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models or other drainage and water modeling software
    • Good communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Social Sciences
    • Valid state driver’s license.
    • CPR certification.

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Teaching certification in the state in which the Center is located with K-12 endorsements
    • One year of teaching experience
