POSITION SUMMARY:
The Epic Application & Project Director provides direct management leadership, coordination and communication for the implementation and maintenance of the project, project activities, application, application area, or specialized team. Directly manages personnel with team, identifies strength and weakness of team members, and provides guidance to ensure success of the collective team and individual team members. Maintains the overall planning, scope, tracking, testing, and quality of the project(s) in the application area. Works closely with the Technical Manager, Training Manager & VP of Project Management to coordinate activities. Coordinate all issues that arise for the application and implementation areas. Coordinating all project activities, including implementation, software and hardware, business‐ and IT‐related tasks, , and internal communications and change management, including recruiting and engaging super users and SMEs. Builds collaborative relationships with project leadership, business owners, clinical department users, and other corporate departments to facilitate usage and acceptance of the system.
