    JOB TITLE: JANITORIAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR - TEAM LEADER

    WORK LOCATION: Miami & Fort Lauderdale

    SALARY RANGE: $55,000 - $62,000 (SALARY COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE)

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Public Transit Bus Cleaning Project Manager will ensure that OIC of South Florida meets its obligation to maintain the interior cleanliness of a bus fleet; while adhering to contract requirements and internal and external policies and procedures. Responsibilities include staffing of project, scheduling, and monitoring project status. The Transit Cleaning Project Manager will develop and implement operational policies and procedures, supervise site leads, prepare site schedules, ensure staff training requirements are met, monitor bus cleaning equipment and supplies; work plans and monitor production levels and trends; perform safety assessments and quality audits; perform inspection of work and forecast material, and equipment requirements.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    § The Public Transit Bus Cleaning Project Manager will coordinate with bus fleet officials, OIC-SI General Manager, and executive staff to establish and implement project policies and procedures

    § In conjunction with HR staff, Public Transit Bus Cleaning Project Manager will recruit project staff and ensure orientation and onboarding is complete. Onboarding will include communicating job expectations, coordinating required trainings, and safety precautions

    § Supervises Site Leads and Bus Cleaners by locating, evaluating, monitoring, and controlling performance; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; adhering to policies and procedures; scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees

    § Accomplishes project results by operationalizing project purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; and scheduling and coordinating staff

    § Reconcile payroll reports with schedules and work with Accounting Department to produce weekly and month end customer invoices.

    § Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.

    § Demonstrated experience in managing a project of similar size and scope.

    § Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with management and other staff members in a courteous and efficient manner.

    § Demonstrated willingness to take appropriate safety precautions.

    § Knowledge of the materials, practices, general operating guidelines, tools, and equipment used in the custodial care of buses.

    § Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions associated with a variety of work activities

    § Knowledge of Chemical hazard, Workplace Safety and Health standards. Knowledge of COVID 19 disinfecting protocols /guidelines.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE:

    § Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a team of 30+ and project management

    § Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (qualifications may be verified through exam).

    § Valid Florida Driver’s license, vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.

    § Must be an excellent communicator.

    § Should possess good leadership qualities and good time-management skills.

    § Ability to pay attention towards the details and meet the assigned goals within time.

    § Good organizational skills and excellent in motivating and managing a team.

    § Critical thinker, enthusiastic and positive approach towards employees and work

    § Must be able to pass a drug test and FDLE criminal background check

    SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

    § Transit Cleaning Project Manager will be required to work various shifts, including nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

    § Ability to work at various locations within a single shift.

    § May be required to work during inclement weather.

    § Will be required reach/bend and stand/walk for long periods of time.

    § Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.

    § Ability to transport a varying amount of project cleaning supplies.
