PERSONAL EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER AND NUTRITIONIST
We are currently looking for a full time housekeeper and nutritionist/cook to operate at multiple properties. We have a total of four homes that will need cleaning as well as cooking. There will be a focus on a main home when the owners are in town, you will be cooking and cleaning for them the entirety of their stay. When they are not in town you will be cleaning the other three homes, as well as cooking occasionally for the three homes- including breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and possible office lunches, and snack foods.
OVERVIEW
We are looking for Household Cleaning & Organizing – The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining and cleaning the house and gardens.
Errands & Driving – The Executive Housekeeper will also run errands when needed.
Cooking - The Executive Nutritionist/Cook will also be responsible for cooking healthy meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack foods and possible desserts when needed. Cooking may vary depending on when home owners are home or when cooking is needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing any bed sheets, changing and arranging towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, window cleaning, all kitchen cleaning, all bathroom cleaning, rearranging the room after any guests.
Report and return any guest properties if found in rooms
Report any cases of property damage in any spaces
Clean and disinfect all equipment at the end of each shift.
Maintain positive relationship with employer and all colleagues
Monitor and report on the inventory of all cleaning supplies
Respond to any calls for housekeeping problems
Collect and remove trash and debris
Assist with any laundry management, including washing, drying, ironing and sorting linens.
Reports and turn in all lost and found items
Clean upholstered furniture
Perform detailed deep cleanings when needed.
Understand the policy on work shifts such as privacy issues and possessions.
Ensure all ingredients and products for cooking are fresh
Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
Occasionally serve food
Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes
Take care of all store ingredients and food
Accommodate any special requests
Know how to operate all kitchen equipment
Clean and sanitize work stations, equipment, utensils
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of experience with corporate housekeeping and cooking
Able to cook a large variety of meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as snack food and desserts if needed.
Excellent working knowledge of cleaning appliances as well as their operations and proper use of cleaning agents
Excellent knowledge of cooking and operating equipment
Attention to detail
Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods of time
Ability to maintain confidentiality
