  • Responsibilities

    Hospitality Health ER in Galveston, TX is seeking a PRN (as needed) and Full Time Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray/CT Technologist) to join their team. The candidate must be willing to cross-train and assist Medical Staff in an ER Technician capacity. This position will consist of rotating 12 hours shifts; weekends required. Pay commensurate with experience

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Provide patient services using imaging modalities

    Exercise professional judgment in the performance of all procedures

    Support RNs and Physicians in providing care for patients

    Ensure patient areas, storage rooms, and equipment are clean and maintained

    Manage lab supplies, linens and stock room supplies

    Requirements

    AART Certification

    CT Experience a Must!

    Multi-Modality; Ultrasound is a plus

    Ability to start IV a plus

    Excellent communication skills

    Strong organizational, reasoning, and problem-solving skills

    Ability to work under pressure in high-stress situations

    Qualifications

    Strong commitment to superior patient service and support

    Positive, warm and friendly personality

    Self-motivated

    Perceptive of non-verbal cues by patients

    Pay & Benefits

    This is an hourly position with shift differential paid for hours worked between 7 PM and 7 AM

    401k is offered after 90 days of employment to all eligible employees
