Summary:
The Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for prospecting, closing and retaining new commercial lines accounts as well as working with others on the team to retain an existing client base.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate new business while exceeding sales and revenue goals
Generate new prospects through cold-calling, networking, and other methods
Use a consultative sales approach to close new business
Direct an internal team consisting of multiple disciplines to maximize client satisfaction
Background and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of commercial lines sales experience is preferred OR 2 years of successful business to business sales experience.
Proven track record of selling to C-level executives and business owners
Valid Indiana Property & Casualty License preferred or the ability to obtain one within the first 60 days of employment.
“Hunter” sales mentality with the ability to manage client needs post sale
Strong organizational skills
