    Summary:

    The Employee Benefits Account Executive is responsible for pursuing and closing sales with new and existing employee benefits clients utilizing self-generated leads.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Prospect for new business utilizing internal and external lead generations.

    Develop client specific solutions through a consultative analysis.

    Coordinate and manage client service schedule.

    Maintain prospecting database and attend all required sales meetings; promote agency and insurance industry; attend insurance carrier training on new products; maintain licensing through continuing education as required.

    Background and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

    3-5 years outside B2B sales experience – a consultative approach is a big plus BUT no insurance sales experience or prior insurance knowledge are required

    Strong sales and consulting aptitude.

    Proven presentation skills.

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to obtain all insurance designations as required.

    Community involvement is essential to success in this position.
