We are searching for motivated individuals who desire to build a career in design engineering/drafting. This is an entry-level position, and we are willing to train someone from the ground up, if they are willing to apply themselves and desire to learn design engineering in the architectural woodwork manufacturing field. Prior drafting or listing experience is not necessary, however, those who possess it will be considered for a higher starting rate.

HERE IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE:

• Servant leader who puts others first
• Teachable attitude–open to learn and even fail at times
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Highly organized and attention to detail
• Technologically skilled (computer literate, Microsoft Word/Excel/Teams, Bluebeam, etc.)
• 2D modeling experience preferred, not required
• Woodworking manufacturing knowledge preferred
• AutoCAD experience is a plus
• Available to work overtime when required

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Design drafting and engineering of custom woodwork products
• Use of AutoCAD for 2D and 3D modeling
• Gather details from blueprints and architectural documents for the purpose of creating shop drawings to be used in construction and field installation
