    Due to strong demand in the renewable energy sector in the USA we are looking for engineers who enjoy working with data to support complex analysis projects in the USA market and globally.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

    · Analyse vibration, SCADA, and other types of machine data to support consulting projects

    · Own the analysis work packages of remote diagnosis projects run by the consulting engineering group

    · Deliver concise and high quality data analysis insight reports to internal and external customers

    · Standardize analysis methods and reporting so results can be delivered to customers in an efficient manner

    ABOUT YOU:

    · Motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the energy transition process

    · B.S in one of the following engineering or related areas: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Automation and Controls, Physics

    · Either recently completed a PhD involving extensive data analysis or a Masters and 1-2 years of post-graduate experience

    · Understanding of dynamics of rotating machinery, engineering mathematics, and statistics

    · Python, Matlab, or Labview programming experience

    · Strong communication skills – ability to develop and deliver presentations & reports, liaise effectively with customers and contribute to internal project meetings

    · Comfortable with project management and client liaison

    · Willing to learn new skills such as software packages and areas of engineering

    · Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in our international offices

    · Right to work in the USA

    AREAS WHERE ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE:

    · Engineering or operations experience in wind turbines or other sector with large rotating machinery

    · Condition monitoring, data mining or machine learning

    · Vibration or structural analysis

    · Signal processing, feature extraction, regression analysis

    · Machine testing, measurement and data processing

    · General mechanical engineering design and analysis

    · Hands on machinery skills, particularly in the Wind Industry

    · Masters/PhD degree in a relevant field

    · Understanding databases, e.g. PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Parquet

    · Scripting, e.g. Batch, Cron, Quartz

    · Bash shell experience in CentOS, Fedora, or similar

    · AWS tools such as S3, WorkSpaces, EC2, etc.

    You must have the right to work in USA. Preference is relocation to Boulder, CO or nearby. Employment offer will include a benefits package, 10% bonus opportunity, 401k match and generous PTO allowance.
