CAD Programming Specialist - O'Neal Manufacturing Services
Opportunity: CADPR007660
Knowledge: Working knowledge of flame cutting, plasma cutting, laser cutting, press brake forming, and plasma punch operation.
Education and language: Complete course in AutoCad and blue print reading. Speak conversational English.
Special Skills (above average skill required): must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, communication (oral and written), interpersonal skills, interdepartmental coordination, coping with difficulties and emergencies, personnel practices.
Additional Skills: able to concentrate and maintain productivity in high pressure situations.
Physical Requirements: kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, talking, repetitive motions.
General Description of Physical Requirements: sedentary work.
Visual Acuity Requirements: machine operators (including inspection).
General Description of Working Conditions: worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
Preferred Office Equipment: computer literate in Microsoft Operating System), Type 40 words per minute. Computer literate with regard to the O’Neal system. Literate in the use of Excel spreadsheets.

OMS Houston supplies parts for trains, construction equipment, forklifts and portable loading docks. Located near the George Bush International Airport on the northside of Houston, OMS Houston is home to a variety of equipment, including: lasers, oxy and plasma burners, forming, machining centers, paint, and manual welding.
