Overview
The OPERATIONS MANAGER ensures daily pharmacy operational functions across multiple locations, ensuring efficient workflows, accurate reporting, compliance, and smooth coordination between internal teams, vendors, and pharmacy partners to deliver revenue and profitability targets.
Responsibilities
Operational Assurance
The Operations Manager is responsible for delivering the yearly targets for revenue and profitability of the assigned area and leads the implementation of special projects
Ensure seamless operation of multiple pharmacy locations.
Ensure operations that follow all government regulations.
Ensure all licenses and permits are up to date.
Ensure pharmacies remain compliant with HIPAA destruction processes and required vendor services.
Maintain logs and documentation required for compliance and internal reviews (e.g., temperature logs, recalls, invoices).
Ensure all Azend policies and procedures are being followed
Operational KPIs
Deliver agreed operational KPIs to increase sales and profitability.
Vendor & System Management
Serve as a point of contact between Azend and pharmacies for seamless vendor support to ensure smooth operations.
Support the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems.
Assist with transitions and upgrades
Cross-Functional Support & Data Reporting & Analysis
Support Finance with cash management reporting processes.
Work closely with HR, Onboarding and Finance teams to support pharmacy operation.
Communicate updates, issues, and progress clearly across departments and pharmacy locations.
Process Improvement
Identify inefficiencies to enhance workflow, reporting, and operational systems.
Assist with standardizing daily processes across pharmacies.
Collect insight from pharmacies and vendors to help implement new initiatives.
Special Projects:
Ensure implementation of special projects
In the Field
Field ride and in-person meetings are a mandatory responsibility
Willing and able to travel throughout designated territory
Greater NYC and New York State territory
Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks across different locations
Comfortable with software systems, dashboards, and basic data analysis
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new systems
Pay Rate and Compensation
Salary 65,000/yr
