We are currently seeking a dynamic Civil Designer with up to 5 years of experience for our Land Development group in Laurel, Maryland! We are a civil & structural engineering firm that provides planning, design, and construction administration phase services for projects like urban and land planning; civil site, water, wastewater, coastal, and structural engineering; landscape architecture; homebuilder; and surveying services for a variety of projects including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings as well as infrastructure design for public works projects. Responsibilities: • Design of land development projects. • Utilizes AutoCAD and Civil 3D software to develop various plans and technical reports in the areas of site layout, storm drain design, stormwater management, sediment and erosion control, utility design, and site grading. • Work with other team members to accomplish project goals and objectives. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required. E.I.T. preferred. • Experience in Private Land Development preferred but not required. • AutoCAD & Civil 3D proficiency required. • Ability to work in a team-oriented office while being able to work independently on specific tasks. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 yearly
