    An industrial machine shop that serves the Energy, Aviation, Hydraulic, and Food Production industries is looking for an HSE Manager who will oversee and guide the development, implementation, and coordination of health, safety, and environmental programs and policies to ensure the attainment of Company goals, as well as pursue compliance with governmental regulations regarding the health and safety of employees and the protection of the environment. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the development, implementation, and training of Company policies, programs, and procedures to reduce the potential for employee injury and ensure compliance with all applicable HSE regulations (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, DOT, etc.). • Perform audits and inspections and facilitate corrective actions to ensure compliance with government regulations. • Drive an incident reporting process that ensures consistent and effective investigation, reporting, and corrective actions. • Prepare professional reports, conduct safety meetings, and be the company spokesperson for safety issues and response to environmental concerns. • Provide company personnel with the appropriate research, advice, and consultation necessary to support their HSE endeavors. • Regularly meet with the Operations Staff to conduct strategic HSE planning efforts. • Ensure ongoing compliance with environmental permits, regulations, and reporting requirements. • Conduct accident prevention and health and safety training. Monitor employee conformity to safety laws and policies. Qualifications: • 5+ years of direct HSE experience in an industrial environment including OSHA and EPA compliance, behavior-based safety, process hazard, and risk analysis, root cause evaluation, incident management, standards and procedural development, auditing, and training. • Knowledge, skills, and abilities to recognize hazardous situations, and identify and implement measures in accordance with regulatory requirements. • Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations. • Ability to develop, train, and administer safety programs, and policies. • Ability to prioritize tasks especially when handling an accident or incident. • Able to react calmly and professionally when dealing with difficult situations. • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other standard software applications. • Advanced knowledge of standard safety equipment used in manufacturing, oil & gas, and chemical plant occupations. • In-depth understanding of construction, oil, gas, chemical, and manufacturing industry-standard operating Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 yearly
