About the Role:

Join GAMMA SURGERY CENTER LLC as an OR Nurse and play a vital role in delivering exceptional surgical care. Our dynamic team in Pittsburgh, PA is dedicated to providing the highest quality of patient care in a supportive and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary instruments are available.

Monitor patient vital signs and maintain a sterile environment throughout surgeries.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients, addressing their needs and concerns.

Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and recovery processes.

Document all nursing care and patient responses accurately in medical records.

Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with best practices in surgical nursing.

Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe surgical environment.

Monday - Friday daylight only, no weekends, no call.

Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
