JOB DESCRIPTION: WE ARE looking to hire a Social Media Specialist to join our team. The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing, planning, executing, and evaluating social media and digital content, advertising, campaigns, and programs as Ora Academy's voice. This position requires data-driven decision-making to best position content, tell persuasive stories, and use real-time insights to realize appropriate audience engagement, reach, and growth. RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for producing high-quality content.
    • Create consistent, meaningful content on social media platforms for the respective markets.
    • Participate in campaigns through social media support.
    • Support markets and manages reports.
    • Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels for the respective markets.
    • Review analytics on a daily and create reports on key metrics. Strategically manage the channel relationships and contribute to the development and refinement of our media channels buying core strategies. Develop paid social recommendations designed to meet the objectives provided in summaries of client/planning teams.
    • Present recommendations to internal or client groups as necessary.
    • Work collaboratively with media planners, analysts, and Agency partners to meet and exceed stated objectives, and provide new solutions for clients.
    • Contribute to new business development when requested.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred, major in Marketing or Communications preferred; Social Marketing, Social Media, Digital Marketing an asset ​.
    • Experience in using content management tools.
    • Good understanding of data, social metrics, and reporting to support best-practice communication strategy and planning.
    • Corporate writing skills with an understanding of brand guidelines.
    • Self-confident and strong attention to detail.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Well-organized with superior follow-through.
    • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing business and work environment.
    • Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking and decision making skills.
    • Ability to resolve complex issues and handle multiple deadlines and priorities.
