    Job Description

    ORBCOMM is looking for a Government Sales Representative to join the Government programs team in support of our existing and emerging resellers, system integrators and partners that sell into the government market. This position is of high importance within the strategic plan for growing overall government business for the company. Responsibilities: * Works with the government sales team and ORBCOMM's government partners in identifying, qualifying, tracking, capturing, and closing sales opportunities within the government market (DoD, Federal and State/Local). * Works with our partners and government system integrators to introduce ORBCOMM products and services while understanding and documenting end customer requirements. * Develops and supports business development strategy by identifying new channel partners and opportunities for partnering within the government market. * Provides ongoing management and support to clients after a sale. * Will attend tradeshows, meetings, and conferences domestically and internationally. * Travel will be required approximately 25-50% of the time. Skills and Experience: * Bachelor's degree or higher. * Experience working in sales, program management, or another similar role. * Experience working with the government system integrators, resellers or other organizations concerned with the status, monitoring, reporting and location of assets. * Experience briefing customers and other stakeholders. * Proven track record of managing customer relationships. * Self-motivated * Strong verbal and written communications skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite.
