Job Title: We have an immediate opening for an K-8 Teacher - Special Education

Location: On-Site. Multiple Locations Available in NV, AZ

Hours: 32-40 hours / week

Commute: This position requires commute (paid hour and reimbursable).

Responsibilities: You'll provide instruction at the professional level using a variety of skills and teaching techniques, according to the instructional levels Kindergarten through Eight grade. The age of students ranges from 5-13 years.

• Prepare daily lesson plans based on IEP, modify as necessary to meet individual needs.
• Manage and conduct classroom to promote and develop positive self-image
• Conducts classes assigned using a variety of skills and teaching techniques, appropriate to all students, including those diagnosed as learning disabled.
• Use teacher prepared instructional plans.
• Evaluate student progress.
• Modify materials and techniques.
• Counseling students
• Conferring with parents and other concerned persons.

Qualifications:

• TEACHER LICENSE/CERTIFICATION (FROM ANY 50 US STATE)
• SPECIAL EDUCATION ENDORSEMENT (FROM ANY STATE)
• MINIMUM BACHELOR'S DEGREE PLUS COURSEWORK IN ANY INSTRUCTION FIELD
• EXCEPTIONALLY SHARP, PROACTIVE, PUNCTUAL, DETAILED-ORIENTED, AND ORGANIZED
• Valid Driver License and Comfortable with Commute
• Comprehensive knowledge of materials and techniques related to both general and special education.
• Ability to select, manage, and develop various assessment and evaluation instructs for successful teaching techniques.
• Knowledge and experience in clinical teaching approach to deal with complicated and specialized learning difficulties or learning-disabled students.
• Working knowledge of processes, policies, and practices that impact the efficiency of conflict management systems.
• Minimum a bachelor's degree from an accredited education institution.
• Minimum 24 semester hours of course work in the field of instruction.
• Be able to obtain and maintain State Teacher Certification for grade K-8 including Special Education endorsement.
• Legal to Work in the United States and be able to pass background check and screening.
