Job Description
The Systems Architect serves as a technical expert on systems administration in large and complex computing environments. This position serves as a subject matter expert on multiple operating systems and platforms supporting enterprise-wide or large-scale computing. This role is customer focused and will define solutions aligning to client needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops complex technology infrastructure architecture models included in approved system accreditation packages
- Provide troubleshooting escalated support issues related to datacenter operations, servers, cloud, virtualization and infrastructure applications
- Assists as needed with the delivery of new client migrations & Managed services operations
- Architect, design, deploy, maintain and lead the implementation of cloud & on premised datacenter solutions using multiple vendors
- Provide recommendations to improve the client’s operating environment and datacenter technologies
- May participate in customer meetings and presentations
- Maintain awareness of current and future technologies that apply to DoD operations
- Make recommendation on performance improvement and automation that can improve operations as part of the project delivery
- Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Management or Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related Solutions Architect position
- Professional Certification in enterprise architecture, security architecture, business architecture, data architecture, infrastructure architecture and application architecture.
- Prior knowledge of DODAF, FEAF and TOGAF (extensive familiarity with DODAF is required)
- Experience using enterprise architecture tools, such as Cameo
- Must have and maintain a Secret personnel clearance
