HAIR STYLISTS - ADVOCATE GOOD SAMARITAN HEALTH & WELLNESS CENTER, DOWNERS GROVE , IL

Part-time (up to 20 hours per week)

We have a great opportunity for a team of Stylists at our client site located in DOWNERS GROVE, ILLINOIS! In this position, you will be required to have a license through the Illinois State Board of Cosmetology for hair styling. You will be responsible for scheduling and confirming appointments, hair coloring and cuts, and maintaining a professional attitude. You will provide sanitation and safety practices. You will have an understanding of hairdressing techniques. You must keep up to date with the latest hair, techniques and trends.

PERFORMANCE

YOU WILL:

• Traditional and wedding make-up.
• Hair - Updo styles, and bridal hair events.

 WHAT'S NEEDED:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• CPR/AED certification through the American Heart Association, Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
• Cosmetology license through the state of Illinois required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Technician must be motivated and be able to work independently as well as with others.
• Possess a professional appearance and a professional attitude.
• This client site requires full COVID-19 vaccination as an essential job function.
