  • Responsibilities

    To make up and provide empty lined boxes to Class B employees to fill with finished product. Take the full boxes of finished product and stack on pallet. Individual must set up line, if needed, make or fold box to be filled, put plastic bag inside and give to Class B person to be filled with proper weight of finished product. Once filled skid stacker will carefully close box and run it through taper. Check to make sure proper code date was applied and stack filled box on pallet.

    Required Skills

    • Ability to read Production Schedule.
    • How to properly turn on and off taper, and set-up line.
    • Folding the boxes into, shape properly and placing inner liner in box. After Class B employees have filled with desired weight of product, close box and feed it into the taper.
    • Stack the taped boxes according to stacking pattern of that product, checking to make sure proper code date has been applied. These boxes weigh anywhere for nine to forty pounds.
    • Assisting in the removal of any rework.
    • How to properly fill out Finished Production Sheet.
    • If working on Meatball Line assist the Class B’ employees by making a box and closing it (after Class B has filled it), then running it through taper.
    • The ability to lift 50# and work at machine speed. These boxes weigh anywhere for nine to forty pounds.
    • Follow all GMP`s (Good Manufacturing Practices).
    • Report any unusual activities in or around the plant to management, ASAP.
    • Work in a safe manner and report any unsafe conditions to the management, ASAP.
    • Any other duties to maintain operation of plant as needed.
    • Must be 18 years of age.
