    SUMMARY:

    The primary role and responsibilities will be to perform project activities that include gathering and documenting business needs and requirements, establishing test plan, develop test scenarios and assisting in testing processes.  The Requirements Analyst will work closely with other team members to document the user stories (requirements) and acceptance criteria for development and participate in testing activities for each development phase.

     

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Elicit and clearly articulate and document business needs, requirements with both internal and external customers, where applicable.
    • Document the findings to validate acceptance criteria that can be understood and re-used throughout the lifecycle of the project.
    • Review, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business needs, functional requirements and test plans as needed to support development and testing.
    • Coordinates project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions
    • Engages with Subject Matter Expert to incorporate usability and user interface needs
    • Coordinate the approval of the acceptance criteria with the Project Owner and key team members on the captured requirements.
    • Prepare for meetings by developing agenda items and discussion topics focusing on specific outcomes beforehand that can be communicated to all meeting attendees.
    • Be prepared to discuss tasks and estimates during planning, review and retrospective meetings.
    • Run, evaluate and post results of testing activities that align with the test scenarios/requirements acceptance criteria.
    • Report all testing metrics to the necessary project/task leads. These testing activities may include, but may not be limited to: integration testing, regression testing, automated testing, scripting, functional testing, security testing, end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing, data migration testing and data reconciliations testing.
    • Provide feedback to the teams on how acceptance criteria were successfully tested in a timely manner using quality assurance and testing best practices.
      • Create and support test plans, test/traceability matrix, test suites, test cases, and the case automation process based on the established design specifications, and acceptance criteria. Prepare for meetings by developing agenda items and discussion topics focusing on specific outcomes beforehand that can be communicated to all meeting attendees.
    • Manage time and estimates within the Work Management System (WMS) on their assigned tasks as well as participate in planning and retrospective meetings.
    • Assist with development of user documentation and training materials if needed.
    • Other duties as needed/assigned.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication
    • Demonstrated ability to facilitate, capture and document business needs and requirements
    • Basic understanding of information technology and business concepts
    • Familiarity with general business functions
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to coordinate with others to push projects to completion and develop creative solutions to overcome obstacles.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in IT or project management required.
    • Experience with Full Lifecycle Development (SDLC)
    • Knowledge of various types of data files (inbound and outbound).
    • Experience with user acceptance testing activities, plans, and tracking changes through sign-off required
    • Ability to multi-task and manage workload in accordance to set priorities
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact and collaborate with employees and customers at all levels
    • Experience in creating, maintaining and executing test scripts.
    • Ability to write up test criteria’s and test cases.

    The compensation range for this Business Analyst position is between $56,721.00 and $106,504.00. The salary offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan.
