    OVERVIEW: Management Science Associates, Inc., (MSA) is a diversified information management company that for over half a century has given market leaders the competitive edge in data management, analytics and technology. We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join the MSA IT/OPS division which has been offering data and insight solutions to the Consumer Package Goods industry since the early 1980s.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Analyze business systems requirements and design technical solutions based on those requirements
    • Develop and support new software applications
    • Design, document, test, and implement application features and enhancements
    • Participate in the development of systems architecture
    • Contribute to software development process standards
    • Communicate with clients on technical matters
    • Lead a group on matters of technical direction
    • Responsible for technical decisions of one or more project teams
    • Coordinates the technical interactions among the developers on a project

    Required Skills

    • Requires a four-year degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
    • At least 8 years of related technical experience
    • Has the experience to work, train and lead at the highest technical level of all phases of systems analysis and programming activity across the full scope of software development cycle
    • Advanced software design and implementation skills using languages like C#, C++, Typescript
    • Proven ability to implement both front-end applications using frameworks like React and Angular as well as back-end webservices based on .NET Core technologies
    • Experience implementing DevOps concepts like continuous integration, deployment pipelines, branching/merging paradigms, and using various source control systems
    • Strong database (relational and NoSQL) skills
    • Proven Leadership and Project Management (organizational and planning) skills
    • Strong communication and technical skills
    • Work experience creating external software products
