  • Responsibilities

    The English Department at Boston University invites applications for a one-year Full-time Lecturer in Asian American Literature. Additional teaching expertise in African American, Latinx, and/or Native American literatures is particularly welcome.

     

    The department of English believes that the cultural and social diversity of faculty, staff, and students is vital to the excellence of our research and academic programs. Successful candidates must have the Ph.D. in hand by time of appointment, which will run from September 1, 2019 through May 31, 2020. Duties include a 3/2 teaching load at the undergraduate level. 

    Required Skills

    For candidates currently holding tenure-track or Visiting Assistant Professor titles, this position can be converted to a one-year Visiting Assistant Professorship.
