    PATH began its work in India in the late 1990s, bringing governments, communities, private-sector companies, and experienced public health practitioners together to address some of the country’s most crucial health problems. In early 2000, the scope of our India program expanded with a major immunization initiative for the state of Andhra Pradesh. Today, PATH’s India projects focus on TB, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis-C, immunization, injection safety, maternal health, and more.

     

    PATH is currently recruiting a Technical Officer Documentation to support the Sunrise Project in the high burden states of Northeast and selected sites in Maharashtra.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develops study operating procedures and project implementation procedures based upon the project needs.
    • Evaluate and document the processes from point of view of the different stakeholders and understand the successes and challenges
    • Document the learnings from the project
    • Responsible for designing decision science and operations study interventions for the project
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate implementation of operations study objectives.
    • Drafts and submits study manuscripts targeted for publication in peer reviewed journals

     

     

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

     

    • Master’s degree in public health, social sciences, or related field
    • More than 10 years of experience with more than 5 years of experience in HIV and TB.
    • Experience in documentation and publications in peer reviewed journal
    • Experience in projects that involve liaising with Government institutions and private sector players/corporates/healthcare providers/NGOs.
    • Proven ability to multi-task and collaborate work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
    • Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines, and intense pressure to perform.
    • Experience in analytical, communication, presentation and report writing skills.
    • Excellent skills in facilitation, team building and coordination.

     

     

     

    Must have legal authorization to work in India.

  • Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
    • 5+ years media planning experience
    • Prior experience in a supervisory role
    • Experienced across most major media channels; sufficient knowledge in both traditional and digital channels
    • Excellent presentation and writing skills
    • Proven ability to develop high quality media strategies that drove results
    • Experience negotiating short and long-term contracts with vendors
    • MS Office: Internet Explorer, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Experience with most major media planning technology (e.g., Telmar or IMS Reach/Frequency, Kantar or Nielsen Competitive, Nielsen and/or Comscore ratings, Comscore digital, MRI-Simmons, Scarborough, Mediatools, etc.)
    • Experience working in a results-focused, fast-paced environment.
