    Atlas Van Lines is searching for a General Manager (GM) of our Atlas Terminal Company (ATC). The GM will have leadership of and accountability for the profitable operation of ATC including both sales and operations in our Evansville Indiana facility. GM will drive momentum of the group to serve our key constituents, our people, our Agent family, our Professional Van Operator (PVOs) and our partners with the highest level of professionalism that is the standard at Atlas. GM will collaborate with the leadership team to ensure operational and financial strategies are aligned and flawlessly executed.

     

    EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION

    Candidate will be a hands on leader with P&L experience running a sales and repair center in the trucking industry. They will have demonstrated ability to lead a team to deliver sustainable results for both internal and external customers.

    • Demonstrated ability to lead, build and develop an outstanding team and motivate team members commitment and performance
    • General manager experience or orientation
    • Deep experience in performance metrics/measurement and management of teams utilizing these metrics
    • Strong experience in driving financial performance and delivering ROI in a service environment
    • Must be process oriented and demonstrate ability to use automation in process improvement opportunities
    • Focused on continuous improvement
    • Maintain an unwavering Customer centric approach in delivering services to all customers
