  • Responsibilities

    HealthFitness has an exciting new opportunity for a part-time (1-4 hrs/wk) VIRTUAL GROUP CLASS INSTRUCTOR to teach from anywhere in the US.  In this position, you will  provide fun, effective and safe virtual group exercise to members participating in the program such as Yoga, Barre, HIIT, Pilates, Zumba, Boot Camp, Kickboxing, Dance and Circuit. Classes will be taught via zoom and MS Teams. 

     

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS:

     

    REQUIRED:

    • Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NETA or other nationally accredited specialty class certification.
    • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills, including the ability to motivate others.
    • High energy, positive teaching style.
    • Strong technical acumen with virtual technology.

     

     

    PREFERRED:

    • 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
    • Experience teaching virtual group exercise classes.
    • Experience teaching on zoom and MS Teams technology platform.
    • Stable internet service for delivery of virtual programs

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

     

    • BS in Packaging Engineering/Science discipline required
    • 8 – 10 years of experience with 2 – 5 years of experience leading projects and/or teams within the food industry including some corporate exposure or tenure
    • Experience with TOPS or CAPE Shipper/Palletization software
    • Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Access) Skills
    • Working knowledge with multiple materials and processes in various distribution environments including rigid plastics, poly films, flexible materials, corrugated and paperboard packaging, labels, etc
    • Extensive knowledge of packaging machinery
    • Experience working in a plant environment is helpful
    • Demonstrated ability to perform as a contributing member of cross functional teams, including marketing, sales and research, purchasing, manufacturing, graphics development, and packaging supplies.
    • Accepting of out-of-town, overnight travel (may be sustained depending upon the project and geographic location)
