    JOB SUMMARY:

    Osi Vision is currently seeking a Forge Course Instruction Level I. The Forge Course Instruction Level I  will be responsible for developing curriculum based on our private and public partner needs, developing labs and projects, assessments and other components of our cyber training programs.

    JOB EXPERIENCE:

    • Develop cyber security modules based on network concepts, techniques, tools and procedures relevant to securing an organization’s infrastructure, vulnerability scanning & management, risk assessments & remediation, threat intelligence, incident response and other cybersecurity topics.
    • Instruct in-depth training based on topics above. This includes managing course delivery by alternate instructors and SMEs who aren’t professional trainers, ensuring the trainees receive the best possible training available nationwide.
    • Conduct off-site cybersecurity awareness workshops for our partners and other community leaders, which includes creating the content for leave-behinds.
    • Create, extend, enhance or revise course material to align with trainee sponsored employers.
    • Assume the role as a subject matter expert to prospective partners and trainees, promoting the upcoming program, professional development and/or cyber bootcamp opportunities and the benefits to potential partners/organizations/cyber operators.
    • Produce high-quality written and verbal reports upon conclusion of cyber bootcamp program and any additional training opportunities that require the evaluation of skills acquired/developed.
    • Represent Forge Institute and it’s programs through community outreach engagement. This includes attending relevant cyber and tech community groups, conferences, etc., offering to participate in relevant group discussions (panel discussions), and any additional outreach opportunities assigned to you.

    PREFERRED & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Computer Science oriented Bachelor’s degree and minimum two (2) years of experience in the development, testing, deployment, operations, training, or maintenance of

    • Experience engineering design, development, deployment, operations, training or maintenance related to Windows and Unix variants

    • Administration knowledge of setting up and maintaining common Windows and/or Unix variant servers

    • Demonstrate knowledge of creating and configuring virtual hosts and networks using VMware in support of developing and/or instructing realistic scenarios

    • Demonstrate knowledge of commonly used software-programming languages (to include, but not limited to: Python, Ruby, and/or shell scripting). electrical/electronic/software systems.  An additional three (3) years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree for a total of five (5) years of experience.

    • Experience creating and/or using training materials utilizing tools such as MOODLE, Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate, or other course and learning management systems (LMS)

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field) is desired, but not required

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
    • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond

     REASONING ABILITY:
