    LOCATION:   OSU Eye & Ear Institute at 915 Olentangy River Rd. Columbus, OH 

    DO YOU HAVE AN EYE FOR DETAIL IN DESIGNING PUBLICATIONS FOR EVENTS UTILIZING WEBSITE DESIGN, PHOTOGRAPHY, AND WRITTEN PUBLICATIONS?  

    We are looking for a Program Coordinator to coordinate outreach efforts through effective publications and website content; assists Director with logistics and mailers/emails for fundraising, alumni, educational, research, and inter-departmental events; develops new events to widen the appeal and support of department; coordinates content, layouts, and production of departmental publications including newsletters, electronic newsletters, and materials for physicians, services, and events; increases positive exposure and consistent quality in department publications; completes all development acknowledgments and updates to the Annual Honor Roll and the Havener Legacy both onsite and online; ensures accuracy of departmental website by updating text and photos, adding new pages, and streamlining current pages to increase the ease of use for all of our patients, staff, future students, and benefactors; updates information and publications in the lobby of the department that embraces our educational legacy, generous benefactors, and current events; acts as a liaison between the staff, faculty, administration, printers, website administrators, promotional companies, benefactors, event sponsors, and special guests; develops internal research recruitment materials including flyers, website updates, and newsletter content; provides internal photography as well as photography and videography coordination for events, publications, and department artwork.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:  

    • Associates or Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent education/experience

    • Experience in program planning and administration required; experience with developing and organizing printed and electronic materials required; strong oral and written communication skills required;  computer skills required with experience with databases, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite, and computer software programs required.
