    PURPOSE:  The Medical Photographer performs ophthalmic medical photography utilizing all photographic techniques applicable to the specialty of ophthalmology in order to properly document parts of the eye, including the cornea, iris and retina.  Medical Photographers interact with patients, patients' families, and physicians.  Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload. Willingness to adapt to an evolving job description and expand your responsibilities as the company grows.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES – MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

    • Performs Fluorescein Angiography
    • Perform Fundus Photography
    • Performs external Photography
    • Performs anterior segment Photography
    • Performs OCT
    • Performs Ultrasound Anterior and Posterior
    • Provides support such as clinic trial Photography/ OCT/ ultrasound

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 2 years of photography experience required.
    • 2 years of Ophthalmic background is desired.
    • Emergency medical training/background preferred
