PURPOSE: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a physician or midlevel provider, and provides a variety of related services to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.  The RN utilizes the nursing process from pre-op evaluation to recovery.  The RN assists physician with procedures, provides sedation to patients, monitors vital signs and answers patient questions while working collaboratively with the healthcare team.  Performs professional nursing work of considerable difficulty including the care of patients as outlined by physicians and the objectives and policies of the organization.  Provides patient and family health education and health assessment. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Associate Degree in Nursing and current Ohio Registered Nurse license.  
• CPR/BLS certified.  
• Experience in performing clinical and medical procedures. 
• Knowledge of triage procedures along with clinic, physician office and/or urgent care experience.  
• Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids.

PREFERENCES: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.  Two or more years of nursing experience. ACLS certified.

SALARY RANGE: $25.87per hour up to $42.31 per hour
