    POSITION PURPOSE:   The Behavioral Health Specialist functions within the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team to provide Collaborative Mental Health services in a Primary Care Setting that are directed at achievement of patient care outcomes, maximizing the patient's involvement in his or her own care plan, improving service levels and decreasing costs. Providing clinical work with patients with mental health diagnoses including individual, group, and couple/family therapy to assist patients to determine treatment goals, return to previous or improved functioning; form aftercare plan; advocate within local community if needed; work as part of clinical team; maintain third party payer relationships.  The Mental Health Specialist provides care to primary care patients experiencing stress or stress-related illness during life events, mood and anxiety disorders. This individual will serve as a critical part of our clinical team, providing psychotherapy and related services for our patients.

    REQUIREMENTS:  

    Master's Degree in Social Work or Master's in Counselor Education , Independent Ohio license (LISW ,LISW-S, or LPCC) to practice. At least two years in independent clinical practice.   Expertise/training in cognitive-behavioral and/or interpersonal psychotherapy, and understanding of the psychosocial aspects of chronic illness. Familiarity with the DSM-V. Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player

    SALARY RANGE:  $50,000 annual - $70,000 annual
