Job description
Buyers responsibilities include researching new vendors, tracking deliveries, researching products to purchase, and creating purchase orders. Ultimately, you will make cost-effective purchases and ensure we maintain a fully stocked inventory.
We provide paid training. No prior experience required
Responsibilities
Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
Research potential vendors
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
Prepare cost analyses
Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition
Support packing, labeling of merchandise when needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer, or similar role is desired but we can train if you don't have the experience.
Good computer skills required
Knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, Outlook
Great analyzing skills and general curiosity required
Solid organizational skills
Ability to work independently and with a team

Salary: $41,600 - $52,000 per year
