Medical Assistant
Cedar Recovery Opioid Treatment Program is an outpatient treatment facility that
employs an array of evidenced-based treatment modalities to provide an
integrated model of care of medical, counseling, and therapeutic interventions to
treat every patient’s individual needs and promote long-term sustainable recovery
from substance use disorder. While Cedar Recovery provides care for all substance
use disorders, it has a primary focus on treating opioid use disorder with
medications such as Methadone, Buprenorphine and/or Naltrexone (MAT).
The purpose of this position is to serve as a Medical Assistant for Cedar Recovery.
The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
• Assists Medical Professionals with clinical prep including collection of lab
specimens, patient UDS schedule, EKG, phlebotomy, admission data
• Proficient computer manageability for scheduling and required
documentation
• Acts as support for the Office Coordinator and Patient Care Coordinator
