Job Overview

Providence Staffing is partnering with a nationwide transportation and logistics company seeking experienced OTR CDL Class A Drivers for coast-to-coast driving opportunities.

Your home location does not matter! We are recruiting qualified CDL drivers nationwide who are comfortable traveling across the country and spending extended periods on the road.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum of 2 years of professional commercial driving experience.
• Dry Van experience preferred, but not required.
• Clean driving record with no major violations within the past 3 years.
• Ability and willingness to drive coast-to-coast routes.
• Must be comfortable remaining on the road for 3 consecutive weeks.
• Ability to pass required DOT drug screening and background checks.
• Must meet all applicable DOT and FMCSA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers on interstate and coast-to-coast routes.
• Transport freight efficiently while meeting scheduled delivery deadlines.
• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, schedules, and deliveries.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company safety procedures, and hours-of-service requirements.
• Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers and logistics personnel.
