Job Description: Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver

Position: OTR Truck Driver Location: Based out of Cleveland, OH (Midwest, NorthEast, and Southeastern Routes) Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 53’ tractor-trailer on long-haul and regional routes.

Deliver freight on time and in excellent condition while following customer requirements.

Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of truck and equipment.

Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.

Follow all DOT regulations, HOS (Hours of Service) rules, and company safety policies.

Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers for delivery updates.

Represent Waz Express in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license.

Minimum 1 year of verifiable OTR driving experience preferred (recent CDL graduates considered).

Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screenings.

Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD (Electronic Logging Device) compliance.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing routes/schedules.
