  • Responsibilities

    The Co-Manufacturing Coordinator will support the Operations team on a variety of Commercialization and Supply Chain tasks. The individual will gain familiarity with all aspects of the co-manufacturing process including but not limited to commercialization, purchasing, production, quality, etc.

    This position will start out as a temporary position with the potential to lead in to a long-term permanent role after 6 months.

    This position will report in to the Director of Co-Manufacturing.

    ESSENTIAL AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Participate in weekly Supplier & Co-Manufacturing Open Order Report calls

    • Participate in weekly Commercialization Meetings and support New Product Development (“NPD”), as needed

    • Request freight quotes from Fulfilment team for COGS analysis

    • Distribute quarterly refresh of Item Master to Quality & Packaging partners

    • Data entry/records management, including:

      • Assist Purchasing Manager with Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) item set-up & transactions as needed
      • Assist Commercialization Manager with Bill of Materials component chart maintenance
      • Maintain Components & Suppliers tracker
      • Work with Suppliers & Co-Manufacturing partners to request necessary documentation following completed component & finished goods production
      • Assist Purchasing Manager with maintaining Bulk & Finished Goods Product Tracker
      • Maintain Formula Transfer tracker
    • Other activities and/or projects as requested by Director of Co-Manufacturing

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Strong communication skills; written, oral and inter-personal
    • Effective organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task
    • Able to work cross-functionally as there will be high level of interaction with Product Development, Sales, Digital, and Finance teams.
    • Familiar with or able to learn Excel as well as NetSuite

    EDUCATIONAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Has had some form of Professional education or job certification training
    • 1-2 years' experience in a similar line of work
    • Experience in operations/manufacturing/supply chain field and beauty industry preferred
