    OUAI is a rapidly growing prestige brand that reflects founder Jen Atkin's simple philosophy – “Life is hard. Looking good should be easy.” Our product line-up categories include hair care, body care, fragrances and supplements. OUAI products are sold domestically at key retailers such as ULTA, Sephora, Target and Kohl's, as well as online at the company website and Amazon. Our products are also sold internationally.

    We are looking for a creative individual and OUAI-obsessed Community Coordinator to join our social and content team. As Community Coordinator, you will be responsible for addressing customer and community comments and inquiries and providing product and service information as it relates to the OUAI's brand. Through balancing sales goals with brand values, engaging our community across all platforms and activating new audiences with intention, you will ensure we continue to foster inclusivity and help our community win life their OUAI. 

    WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

    • Expand @theouai community across Instagram and TikTok through strong community management, engaging in a positive and creative way that goes above and beyond to build brand affinity and support questions, concerns and feedback 
    • Monitor OUAI social channels, acting as the eyes and ears to our community, upcycling relevant info to key stakeholders 
    • Act on behalf of the brand as community liaison by answering questions, responding to direct comments, commenting on UGC and replying to DM's authentically in the brand voice  
    • Relay community feedback to relevant brand stakeholders.  
    • Identify and track relevant community metrics and trends and report community analytic reporting with Social Media Manager weekly  
    • Collaborate on identifying, recommending and implementing new customer service opportunities and touchpoints, as it makes sense, to strengthen community relations with the brand  
    • Become a subject matter expert on our products  
    • Please note this role is part-time, weekend and holiday hours

     

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

    • 1+ years of experience in community management, communications, or social media 
    • A passion and understanding of the OUAI brand and its mission 
    • Strong analytical background with ability to spot trends and leverage insights 
    • Strong organization and time management skills required 
    • Willing to go the extra mile to make sure our community feels seen, heard and taken care of 
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication - can effectively own brand voice in all communications 
    • Flexible availability, please note this is a par-time, and weekend opportunity
