    Job Description

    The Business Development Head is deeply interested in the long-term success of OYO. They will hit the ground running, negotiate deals and thrive in a fast-paced technology and hospitality organization. In this high profile, integral role, you will engage in a multi-faceted business development strategy to drive growth and sales for OYO. Your tasks will range from developing growth and sales strategies to structuring strategic partnerships to negotiating exceptional deals. 

    What You’ll Do

    • Manage and develop a team of Business Development Managers carrying a significant monthly quota 
    • Develop meaningful relationships with hotel owners
    • Lead and negotiate deals from end-to-end (from due diligence to contract negotiations and post-deal management) with cross-functional input aligned to business / service strategy
    • Own the deal process and lead teams to meet their quota and targets 
    • Define, track and report on sales performance metrics
    • Act as a brand ambassador

    What You’ll Need

    • 8+ years of strategic business development and sales experience
    • Proven track record and experience negotiating complex deals
    • Experience with leading teams and collaborating with cross functional teams including our infrastructure and experience teams
    • Creativity, strategic thinking, and ability to use data insights to structure high impact deals
    • Analytical mindset and strong use of data-driven decision making
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    • Passion for OYO’s mission and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
    • Extremely proactive, self-starter, resilient, agile with strong team management and execution skills
