This position is designed for someone with a few completed projects as Assistant Superintendent and ready to run their own projects in under a year. You'll do your first project as Assistant to learn their processes and get to know the teams and typical challenges, then become the Superintendent on the next one. 

Projects are in the $70-$90 million range, most often comprised of custom residential communities of 250-350 units with extensive amenities and cutting-edge architecture and features.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify project risks related to safety, documentation, subcontractors, suppliers, and logistics; make recommendations to resolve issues and improve
• Review plans and make recommendations for improvement as needed
• Monitor and assure that sub-contractors and punch carpenters are performing and complying with standards
• Coordinate delivery and scheduling with vendors to ensure projects stay on schedule
• Review and maintain project documentation
• Build relationships with building officials and inspectors, and help with coordinating inspections
• Other duties common to an Assistant Superintendent position

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years experience on ground-up multifamily residential or mixed-use projects
• A focus on quality, safety, and risk management
• Comfortable using MS Project and other construction specific technology (Procore)
• Team and process-oriented approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly and excel in a company that uses cutting-edge building techniques, technology, and processes
