Responsibilities: • Seek consultation with dental specialists, such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, or periodontists when appropriate • Identify oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including cleanings, restoration, root canals, and surgical extractions • Assess the patients’ overall dental health and look for presence of dental diseases, by thoroughly examining the patients’ teeth using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments • Show patients how to use recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as retainers and dentures and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene • Recommend and perform preventive dental care treatments such as flossing, fillings, sealants, x-rays, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated Qualifications: • Should be computer proficient • Unrestricted and current state license in good standing • Up-to-date knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is desired • 2+ years in clinical or private practice dentistry experience is required • Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry • Years of experience working with restorative cases & surgical procedures Compensation: $400,000
