    Job Description

We are seeking a C/C++ Software Engineer to work on various areas of the Mezzanine codebase, including user interface rendering, video conferencing integration, system services, video streaming services, media processing, and other loosely-coupled components of a sophisticated collaboration product that is at the leading edge of its market. This position is located in Los Angeles, CA or Boston, MA.

An ideal candidate would have a Computer Science education, real-world experience working with a team to build production-quality applications, and a flexible mindset. Your core competency in C++ doesn't hold you back from making polyglot contributions to services written in Go -- Ruby scripts -- web-stack applications -- and more. You're a hacker with a quality mindset, embracing both the excitement of new features and the rigor of automated tests and continuous integration.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ●       Build, design and code new features and enhancements for various parts of Mezzanine

    ●       Create, extend, and maintain a large, modern C++ codebase, increasing its quality over time by developing strategies to pay down tech debt as it's discovered

    ●       Work closely with members of QA and design to ensure that what you're building is to spec -- makes sense -- and is robust

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ●       BS in Computer Science or related field

    ●       A strong track record of 3+ years of experience as a C/C++ developer with proficiency working in a Linux environment

    ●       Deep technical understanding of areas you have been working on and a willingness to learn about new areas such as real-time rendering, distributed systems, concurrency and networking

    ●       Enthusiastic references from team members who have worked with you

    ●       Strong communications skills and an eagerness to learn

    Additional Information

TO APPLY, INCLUDE A SHORT NOTE ABOUT YOU AND WHY YOU'RE INTERESTED IN THIS JOB; IF YOU CAN, INCLUDE A POINTER TO A PROJECT YOU'VE WORKED ON

ALL QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL RECEIVE CONSIDERATION FOR EMPLOYMENT WITHOUT REGARD TO RACE, COLOR, RELIGION, SEX, AGE, DISABILITY, NATIONAL ORIGIN, VETERAN STATUS, MARITAL STATUS, AND ANY OTHER STATUS PROTECTED BY FEDERAL, STATE, OR LOCAL LAW.
