  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Administration, maintenance, and operation of systems infrastructure
    • Setup and configure physical and virtual servers, workstations, printers and phones
    • Hands on configuration of Desktops, Laptops, Servers and A/V Systems
    • Cabling and physical racking & stacking
    • Administer Microsoft Exchange Online (O365) and Active Directory
    • Administration of VOIP system(s)
    • Determine action plans to address issues, communicating proactively with service users and stakeholders. Ensure systems are compliant and secure.
    • Run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions.
    • Respond to business critical emergencies both during and after business hours
    • Act as escalation point for other members of IT
    • Utilize ITIL processes and ServiceNow for IT support/help desk tickets
    • Write documentation and/or specific procedures to help clients with repetitive tasks
    • Provide high level of internal customer service
    • Maintain current knowledge of new hardware and software
    • Working knowledge of LAN/WAN
    • Solid understanding of Cloud based hosting providers such as GCP and Azure
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 6+ years of experience supporting and maintaining a Windows and Linux server
    • environment
    • Microsoft certifications desired, MCSE preferred
    • Proficiency with Microsoft products (Exchange Online, Active Directory, MS Server)
    • Hands on experience managing VMARE vSphere server and VDI environments
    • Hands on experience managing cloud environments (MS Azure, Google Cloud, AWS)
    • Hands on experience managing and administrating GitLab
    • Proficiency with TCP/IP Protocol Stack and DNS
    • Bachelor degree in information systems, computer science or related field
    • Proven track record of successfully juggling multiple tasks and solving problems independently
    • Strong customer support experience
    • Collaborative team player
    • Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds

    SALARY RANGE:

    $60,000 - $80,000
