    JOB DESCRIPTION:

Observint Technologies provides security solutions that make our communities safer, smarter and more secure. Our channel business, Alibi Security, offers a comprehensive line of high-performance products, many under our Alibi® brand name, that are exclusively sold to dealer and integrator partners serving customers in markets across the US. We also run a direct-to-consumer company called Supercircuits that sells directly to end consumers, businesses and government entities for more than 30 years. We operate in a competitive space, and are looking to add a key team member who will help us rise above the crowd – establishing a consistent and prolific brand voice that connects with our wide range of customers.

Our marketing content specialist will integrate technical and business information with strategies to create effective communications – from brochures and sales collateral to articles, press releases, case studies, web and social content. A successful candidate will exercise strong writing, editing, research, and interviewing skills to organize, create and package information that effectively represents our company and/or re-sellers, and resonates with our many targeted audiences.

To be clear – THIS IS A ROLE THAT INVOLVES LOTS OF WRITING. You must have the writing chops to develop and execute effective marketing communications – from email, to catalog, to social - but also have the appetite to take key features and benefits and turn them into interesting, compelling stories that helps us or our dealer network sell products. IF YOU CANNOT PROVE YOU HAVE THESE SKILLS, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY (FOR EVERYONE’S SAKE).

This role will work directly with our tenured marketing, sales, support technicians and product management teams to collect, generate and publish content that reinforces our brand leadership in the industry. The role will also help produce whitepapers and case studies for publication on websites and to be used by the sales team for lead generation. This position will collaborate with design resources where necessary to complete communications assignments and prepare them for publication across our company websites, sales and marketing materials – and for syndication via thousands of websites and social media outlets that we manage for our growing dealer network.

The Content Specialist will develop and create content for all vehicles, including:  printed brochures and catalogs, sales enablement materials, online landing pages, email, and social media posts – and will work directly with our marketing and senior leadership teams to support all content needs.
